Accessibility Statement
Last reviewed: September 10, 2026
Tribeca Physical Therapy is committed to making tribecaphysicaltherapy.com usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnification, voice control, or keyboard-only navigation. Accessibility is part of how we think about patient care, not an afterthought.
Conformance Target
This website is designed and built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 (opens in a new tab), Level AA. WCAG 2.1 AA is the standard referenced in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Section 504 rule and the benchmark most commonly applied in ADA Title III web accessibility matters.
Measures We Take
We build this site using semantic HTML landmarks and headings, visible keyboard focus indicators, labeled and error-announced forms, sufficient color contrast, and content that remains readable and operable with JavaScript disabled or with reduced-motion settings enabled. We test with automated tools and by navigating the site with a keyboard alone. Accessibility is reviewed whenever the site's design or content changes, not only at launch.
Known Limitations
No website is perfectly accessible to every visitor in every situation, and this one is no exception. We are aware of the following limitations and are working to address them:
This site embeds a small number of third-party tools we do not fully control: a Google Maps location embed, an Elfsight Google Reviews widget, a GiftUp gift card purchase widget, a ZocDoc online booking link, and a PreferredMD scheduling button. We test these for basic keyboard operability, but we cannot guarantee that every future update from these providers stays fully accessible. If any of these blocks you from booking or reaching us, our phone number and email above always reach a real person and work as a full alternative.
Some blog articles on this site were migrated from an older version of the site and have not yet had every embedded image individually reviewed for descriptive alternative text. We are working through these on an ongoing basis; if you find one that is missing or unhelpful, please let us know using the contact information below and we will fix it promptly.
Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier anywhere on this site, please tell us. We want to know about it and we want to fix it.
