Dr. Kristian Marcial
Dr. Marcial is the eldest of four siblings and grew up in the Philippines, earning a bachelor's degree from De La Salle University's Health Science Institute before completing his Doctor of Physical Therapy at Dominican University in New York. In more than a decade practicing physical therapy in New York City, he moved from hands-on patient care into practice leadership, serving as Director of a Physical Therapy Department before co-founding Tribeca Physical Therapy. He is a Certified KinesioTaping Practitioner and Credentialed Clinical Instructor, holds APTA leadership, management, and administrator certifications, and completed STOTT Pilates teacher training. His clinical focus is orthopedic and pelvic floor physical therapy, with a particular interest in shoulder cases, including rotator cuff tears.
A healthy man has 10,000 wishes, a sick man only has one.
What guides the work.
As CEO, Dr. Marcial measures leadership by one thing: whether every clinician can do their best work and every patient is treated like family. He holds the practice to the same discipline he applies to his own growth, built from years of studying leadership, and runs the clinic on high standards, clear communication, and outcomes that hold from a patient's first visit through their last.
Off the clock.
Life beyond the treatment table.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Marcial's time centers on family and lifelong learning. He's an avid reader of self-help and leadership books and regularly invests in personal-development courses, the same growth mindset that shapes how he leads the practice.
