Dr. Wing M. Wong-Tom
Dr. Wong-Tom graduated from NYU's physical therapy program in 1996, earned an Advanced Master's in Orthopedic Medicine from Quinnipiac University in 2000, and completed a transitional Doctor of Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in 2020. She has held her Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) credential since 2000, more than 28 years spent treating orthopedic and sports injuries across New York City, and serves as a guest speaker for LIU's athletic training program. Her specialties include TMJ dysfunction, spinal issues, cervicogenic headaches and dizziness, shoulder, knee, and ankle injuries, running injuries, and pre- and post-surgical care.
When there's a will, there's a way.
What guides the work.
Nearly three decades into orthopedic practice, Dr. Wong-Tom still values persistence and precision in equal measure. She believes every patient's recovery has a path forward, even when it isn't obvious on day one, and she brings the same rigor that earned her board certification to finding it.
Off the clock.
Life beyond the treatment table.
When she isn't in the clinic, Dr. Wong-Tom is a devoted theater fan who catches Broadway shows around the city whenever she can.
