Hillel Avital
Hillel grew up on Manhattan's Upper West Side, where he competed as a swimmer and worked as a lifeguard before turning that same discipline toward physical therapy. He holds a B.S. in Biology from UC San Diego and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Physical Therapy. He interned at Tribeca Physical Therapy in 2024 and at UCSD's Koman Family Outpatient Pavilion, hands-on experience he brings to our clinical team every day.
Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard.
What guides the work.
As a future physical therapist himself, Hillel brings the same discipline he built as a competitive swimmer into every shift: showing up prepared, supporting the clinical team, and making sure patients feel taken care of the moment they walk in.
Off the clock.
Life beyond the treatment table.
Outside of the clinic, Hillel plays ultimate frisbee, keeps up a regular gym routine, and prefers to get his cardio outdoors.
