Physical Therapy Aide

I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the USA when I was 16 years old. I went to International Community HS and have an Associate in Science from Medgar Evers College and a Bachelor in Biology from Brooklyn College. I am currently working at Tribeca PT as a PT aide.

This is my first time working as a PT aide. However, I have experienced working a as medical receptionist and customer service.

The core values that drive my life are Respect, Dedication, Compassion, Individuality, Family and Growth.

“Everything happens for a reason”

Something patients have to deal with that I want to fix is insurance. Many patients are not sure what their insurance benefits are or are not explain throughly so their can fully understand.

I am a PT aide so I assist the providers and staff on whatever they need within my scope.

I am not a provider however, I have the opportunity to observed what the providers do and I love to see how they interact with the patients and help them to alleviate their pain.

I like that everyone is so helpful and friendly. Additionally, the thing I like the most about working here is how everyone is treated the same without minimizing one another based on positions. I also like the personal interaction providers have with patients to make them feel more comfortable while helping their body feel better too.
