The Clinical Pilates Training Course for Doctors of Physical Therapy and Allied Healthcare Professionals is a comprehensive program designed to provide specialized knowledge and skills in the field of Pilates for healthcare providers. Led by Anneliese Wilson, a highly experienced former STOTT PILATES® lead instructor trainer, this course takes participants on a deep dive into the foundations of Pilates and its application within evidence-based exercises, education, and expertise of a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
Anneliese Wilson is a recognized expert in the field of Pilates, having completed an extensive training regimen in the nine Specialty Tracks developed by Merrithew®, the organization behind STOTT PILATES®. These Specialty Tracks are designed to equip instructors with in-depth knowledge of specific demographics or sports, enabling them to design specialized programming for clients with unique fitness needs. In addition to her comprehensive certification and additional training as an instructor trainer on all apparatus and in injuries and special populations, she has completed over 110 continuing education workshops with STOTT PILATES®;as well as completing the MAT jumpstart training courses for Lower Extremities, Upper Extremities, Spine and Trunk; The Pink Ribbon Post Rehabilitation Instructor Certification; FAMI / ICahn School of Medicine program for movement professionals; Pilates for Neurological conditions; Buff Bones certification; Pre and Postnatal Certification – The Center for Women’s Fitness; Pilates for Menopause – TCFWF; Pelvic Floor Health – TCFWF; The Center Method for Diastasis Recti Recovery; Mechanics of the foot, Gait analysis and training,and LINK Advanced Movement Training; Core Align Training; Hypopressive Fitness; and continued work with the anatomist Irene Dowd.
