Dr. Lindsey Steelman
Dr. Steelman grew up in Harford County, Maryland, and attended Eastern Nazarene College in Boston before earning her Doctor of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She now lives in Brooklyn, where she practices as a Herman & Wallace certified pelvic floor rehabilitation specialist alongside her orthopedic physical therapy work. She treats pelvic floor dysfunction, including incontinence, vaginismus, vulvodynia, prolapse, and prenatal and postpartum concerns, as well as orthopedic conditions such as low back pain, post-operative knee and shoulder recovery, tendinopathy, arthritis, and SI joint dysfunction.

Dr. Steelman leads with kindness, in how she talks with patients and in how she builds their plan of care. Pelvic floor and orthopedic recovery both ask patients to trust someone with something vulnerable, and she makes sure every patient feels heard before they feel treated.

Off the clock, Dr. Steelman stays active with hiking, tennis, pickleball, and running, and makes time for cooking, music, and friends and family.
