Keep moving in your own home despite social distancing. You and your health are our number ONE priority

Tribeca Physical Therapy will remain OPEN FOR BUSINESS and we are constantly monitoring the updates with regards to the COVID-19 in the Tribeca area. We always make sure that we comply with the health regulations imposed by the government. Our equipment is cleaned thoroughly especially for the ones that are shared. We want to stay positive and remain calm amidst the situation.

What if I choose to self-isolate and stay home, can I still keep my appointment with Tribeca Physical Therapy?

Definitely! You may keep your appointments with us through the TeleHealth Physical Therapy app or website. You can receive information such as scheduling, auto reminders, downloads and messaging. It is available to download in Apple’s app store and Google play. Our Telehealth Physical Therapy app is designed to communicate with our patients through VideoChat under a HIPAA compliant platform and is a great alternative for our patients who choose to stay home.

What you can do to protect yourself from COVID-19:

Boost Your Immune System

It is also important to boost your immune system by eating a proper diet and sleeping 8 hours a day. Remember that prevention is better than cure. If you have a balcony or a window, get yourselves some Vitamin D through sunlight.

Keep Moving

It is important to stay active even at home to stay in shape and to give your body a good fighting chance to battle and recover from COVID-19 or any type of sicknesses. Exercise can help flush any bacteria off your lungs. It also improves the antibodies or white blood cells to circulate more rapidly so it can detect the illnesses earlier.

Exercise is good for you but just don’t overdo it, this is why it is better to stay in touch with our professional Physical Therapists so they can guide and give you direction.
