Tribeca Physical Therapy’s Response to COVID-19

Our highest priority continues to be the health and well-being of everyone who comes into our clinical boutique. It is with a heavy but hopeful and united heart that we close the doors to our clinic to keep our patients and community safe until further notice.

As a valued client, we wanted to share with you some steps that we’re taking to provide you with the flexibility that you need during these uncertain times.

  • First, we will abide by the city and prioritize safety.
  • Second, we are offering YOU a complimentary 30-minute TeleHealth Physical Therapy session to supplement and guide your home exercises.
  • Lastly, we are creating partnerships and improving the way we can serve by connecting to other health and wellness practitioners.

On behalf of the entire Tribeca Physical Therapy Family, we would like to thank you for putting your trust in us in providing high quality health and wellness.

We’re committed to working through these challenging circumstances with you together.

Thank you so much to everyone who has reached out with love and support. As you can imagine this puts many in our community in situations of great precarity, and we are doing everything we can to ensure people have the support they need.

You may keep your appointments with us through the TeleHealth Physical Therapy app or website. You can receive information such as scheduling, auto reminders, downloads and messaging. It is available to download in Apple’s app store and Google play. Our Telehealth Physical Therapy app is designed to communicate with our patients through VideoChat under a HIPAA compliant platform and is a great alternative for our patients who choose to stay home.

What you can do to protect yourself from COVID-19 at home:

Boost Your Immune System

It is also important to boost your immune system by eating a proper diet and sleeping 8 hours a day. Remember that prevention is better than cure. If you have a balcony or a window, get yourselves some Vitamin D through sunlight.

Keep Moving

It is important to stay active even at home to stay in shape and to give your body a good fighting chance to battle and recover from COVID-19 or any type of sicknesses. Exercise can help flush any bacteria off your lungs. It also improves the antibodies or white blood cells to circulate more rapidly so it can detect the illnesses earlier.

Exercise is good for you but just don’t overdo it, this is why it is better to stay in touch with our professional Physical Therapists so we can guide and give you direction.We are dedicated to guide you online with your exercise programs and be available to answer your questions regardless of means and location.
